HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?

Welcome to the Mountain Creek Junior Australian Football Club (MCJAFC). We have attached on this page all the information you will need to register your child(ren) for footy in the Sunshine Coast 2024 Junior Australian Rules Football season.

Footy4Fun is the next step in the Junior football pathway for boys and girls after the Auskick and Superstars programs, for under 9’s and beyond.

Or get started in Auskick and Superstars from age 5 (see below).

If you are new to AFL football, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Our Club President – Steve Racovalis or our Club Registrar – Leah Micallef will be happy to talk to you to explain the pathways for your child.

2. SO YOU'VE REGISTERED - WHAT NOW?

You have already registered but now you want to find out what happens next?

This process begins in February:

>> Our Teams for 2024 will be posted in the “Season 2024” menu item of this website and parents will be notified by email by your Team Coach and /or Manager.

>> A link to the Team Fixtures (game days/times) will also be shared in the “Season 2024” menu item of this website as soon as they are available from AFLQ.

>> We can’t do this without you. Please register your interest to Volunteer here.

>> You will have the opportunity to join a Facebook Group dedicated for your team communications and for sharing team news and photos.

>> Like our Facebook page to hear the latest Club news.

3. HOW YOU CAN HELP

~ STEP 3 ~
You would like to get involved and help out but not sure how?

>> Become a Coach? We offer training and lots of resources.

>> Become a Team Manager? You’ll have all the support you need to get up to speed.

>> Help out in the Canteen? An hour here and there during home games is all it takes.

>> Help us with home game day set up or pack down? Many hands make light work!

>> Join the Committee? This is your club, so bring your skills to the table.

Learn about footy and have heaps of fun, ages 5 to 12

JOIN THE AUSKICK FUN

NAB AFL Auskick is a great introduction for kids into the world of Australian Football. Auskickers run, jump, kick, laugh, express themselves and create their own special moments that just happens to be footy.

No matter if you know the game or not, Auskick is inclusive for everyone aged 5-12 at any ability to play.

SIGN UP FOR SUPERSTARS

Get ready for game play for Under 6's and 7's

FOOTY SKILLS FOR LIFE

Superstars footy is a super fun, social and safe AFL Development Program for boys and girls who have graduated from the NAB AFL Auskick Program.

Once joined, participants can then further develop their football, social skills and match play in a local club environment before officially joining Footy4Fun (Junior Club Football) in Under 8’s.
